Kevin Federline visited estranged wife Britney Spears in rehab yesterday, staying for 90 minutes. K-Fed told Britney that he still loved her, according to The Daily Star website.The 28-year-old rapper also told
Britney that although he still loved her they would never be a couple again despite the starlet's pleadings.
Britney has been resident for the last few days in the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu and has been told she must spend at least 30 days at the centre or K-Fed will start proceedings for custody of the couple's children.
Kevin is also rumoured to have been part of a family conspiracy with Britney's mother, Lynne and manager, Larry Rudolph to trick
Britney into attending a meeting which the pop princess thought had been arranged to discuss the estranged couple's reconciliation. In actual fact the meeting was arranged to talk
Britney into agreeing to go back to - and stay in - rehab.
K-Fed has been quoted as saying Britney has been taking the painkiller Vicodin and the anti-depressant Xanax along with cocaine and booze and that the 25-year-old singer needs to clean up her act. The family have been concerned that Britney may have an accident whilst under the influence and fear that she will "end up in the mortuary like
Anna Nicole Smith".
